Chongqing owns many fabulous tourist attractions well suitable for a leisurely vacation. Dazu Rock Carvings located about 167 kilometers (104 miles) from Chongqing boasts numerous colorful Buddhist carvings which can rival the famous Mogao Caves.   • Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street
    Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street is named after the People's Liberation Monument, the landmark of Chongqing to celebrate the liberation of the city from seventy years of colonial rule.
